I work with my clients to create bespoke quilts that will fit a specific purpose and space. I take into account the style and colour of the room it is destined for, but also the use it is going to get, the placement of the patchwork, the amount of extra width and length needed for the quilt to be tucked neatly at the end of a sofa or a bed.

Often clients will bring a piece of fabric or an unfinished piece of patchwork that I will integrate into a bigger quilt. I also take on projects that are built around pieces of material from children clothes or the wardrobe of a loved one who passed away. These memory quilts constitute an invaluable memento that can be passed from one generation to another. You can see here the quilt made with Marie Lenclos' late mother's clothes.
