Log Cabin Quilt Blocks: 100 colour and pattern variations is going to be released by Batsford on the 6th of August in the UK and the 11th of August worldwide. It started as a "what if I created 100 variations of a log cabin block?" and ended as a collection of artworks created in the order they appear in the book, each exploring the versatility of a simple piecing technique. The book has three sections: the blocks, numbered 1 to 100; the method, which covers basic patchwork skills as well as more advanced techniques like cornerstones, double line, polygons, curves, and much more; and the block directory, with diagrams of each block as well as all the technical information necessary to reproduce them. I hope you will find inspiration and new skills in it, the courage to give it a go, and keep it as a useful resource for years to come.
